Obituary for Wilfred Kekaha Jr.

Wilfred Martin Kekaha Jr of Kahului, Maui passed away with his wife by his side at Maui Memorial Medical Center on September 22, 2021. He was born September 24, 1956 in Wahiawa, Oahu. Wilfred is survived by his wife of 40 years Henrietta Kekaha, 6 children: Roselani Kekaha, Hanale Kekaha, Michael Kekaha, Craig Kekaha, Rayann Sagon and Rachel Sagon, and survived by his siblings: Barbara Huffman, Roy Cordeiro, Lois Kekaha and Brenda Kekaha (deceased). Wilfred is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many beloved uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wilfred retired as a heavy equipment operator belonging to the Operator's Union. He has been retired for 10 years. Fellow operators called him "Braddah Willy".

He very much loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, loved fishing, riding Harley's and working on cars.

His celebration of life over urn will be held October 16, 2021 at Norman's Mortuary with family visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 am, public visitation 9:30 to 10:30 am with service at 10:30 am.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Pacific Cancer Institute and Maui Memorial Medical Center Oncology Dept, Maui Memorial Medical Center ED physician and staff, and Hospice Maui. Much Aloha to his nurses Colleen and Lori for a your kind hearts and care for Wilfred.
