Obituary for Shirley Shizue Kanamu
Shirley Shizue Kanamu, 81, of Wailuku, Maui peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born in Waimea, Kauai on May 5, 1939 to Tamekichi and Yoshiko Takeuchi.
She is survived by her children, Gaylen (Velma) Kanamu, Leslie (Lori) Kanamu Jr., Shirles (Hanale) Inciong, Alexis (Cal) Keau, Travis (Rhonda) Kanamu and Brandon (Tisha) Kanamu; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband Leslie Kanamu Sr.; parents, Tamekichi and Yoshiko Takeuchi; and brothers, Shigeo Takeuchi, Taka Takeuchi and Ben Takeuchi.
Family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the support and care received from the staff of Islands Hospice and Mary Jane.
