Obituary for Rogelio Vinoray Dela Cruz
It is with profound sadness that the family of Rogelio Vinoray Dela Cruz of Makawao, passed away on October 31st , 2022 at Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center.
He was born on April 5, 1940 in Piddig, Ilocos Norte.
He worked for Maui Land and Pineapple Company for 24 years, and retired from his last position in Irrigation. Rogelio enjoyed traveling to the Philippines. He also kept busy gardening, doing various home projects, and selling his fruits and vegetables. He will be remembered as hardworking, selfless, and kind.
He is predeceased by his wife Rufina, sister Trining, and brother Delfin. He will be lovingly remembered by daughter Rosie (Rick) Santos, son Roland Dela Cruz, grandchildren Miyka and Kolten Santos, sisters Myriam (Arnold) Mamis, Eden (Alfred) Cabeza (Philippines),
brothers Samson (Elma) Dela Cruz, Edwin (Leny) Dela Cruz, and Jessie (Lily) Dela Cruz.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm, with services at 7pm on Friday December 9, 2022, at Norman’s Mortuary. Visitation will continue from 9:00am to 11:00am, on Saturday December 10, 2022, at Norman’s Mortuary with burial at 12:30pm, at Maui Memorial Park.
