Melanie Sarol, age 61, a loving mother of 5, passed away on March 4th, 2022 in the comfort of her home after a long and courageous battle with ovarian and lung cancer. Melanie was born on December 14, 1960, to Bienvinido and Anita Delacerna in Cebu City, Philippines. She was surrounded by a big family which taught her the importance of caring for others. As a mother, she was strong, generous, and warmhearted. She always put her kids’ needs in front of hers. She had the biggest heart and cared for her loved ones so deeply. When she became a grandmother, she was astounded. She loved all of her grandchildren so much and would shower them with gifts. Melanie loved to go to the beach during her free time and spend time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and always remembered as the hilarious and beautiful woman she was.

Melanie is survived by her 5 children: Michael Loring, Danielle Brown, Enrico Sarol Jr., Teddy Sarol, and Ericka Sarol; 4 grandchildren: Lucas Brown, Landon Loring, Toby Brown, and Emme Sarol.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Theresa Church 25 W Lipoa St. Kihei, HI 96753 later this month. Family and friends will be notified.
