Marie Pacheco Gonsalves, 78, of Wailuku, Maui went home to be with the Lord on Friday,
December 30, 2022 with her daughter, Leona, by her side. She was born on July 7, 1944 in
Paia, Maui to Victorio and Mary (Torres) Pacheco.

After Graduating from Maui High School, Marie worked at the Maui Pine. She later became
manager at the Family Life Center Skating Rink and then manager at the Maui Racquetball
Club and Spa. Before going into retirement as a property manager, she worked as a janitor
at Jim’s Janitorial Services.

Marie is survived by; Daughter and caregiver, Leona Marie (Gonsalves) Figueira; Son, John
(Kim) Gonsalves; 6 grandchildren, Destiny (Amanda) Silva, Ashley (Patrick) Talbot, Kolina
(Henry) Estrada, Travis (Alexis) Silva, Kainalu and Keoni Gonsalves; 6 great grandchildren,
Isabelle and Damien Talbot, Briseida and Yartiza Estrada, and Emilia and Eviee Silva; Brother,
Daniel Pacheco; Sister, Nancy Moniz; Sister in law, Theophane (Teddie) Gonsalves; God
daughter, Malia Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by; Husband,
Damien Joseph Gonsalves; Parents, Victorio and Mary Pacheco; Brothers, Tony Pacheco,
Manuel Pacheco, Johnny Pacheco, David Pacheco Sr., Santo Pacheco, Richard Pacheco
Sr., Jose Pacheco, Henry Pacheco, Lawrence (Flodie) Pacheco Sr., and Henry Pacheco;
Sisters, Antonia Torres, Bessie (Sina) Perry and Francis (Sica) Feliciano.

Funeral Service will be held at Norman’s Mortuary on Saturday, February 4, 2023 with public
viewing at 10:00 a.m., Service at 11:00 a.m. and Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park,
Garden of Meditation, at 2:00 p.m.
