Forever in Our Hearts

Kalalena-Ekewaka “Kapo’o” Piena, Sr. 30 was born in Kailua, Oahu on May 30, 1991 and left us to join our Heavenly Father on January 7, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his wife Chablee AhLoo Piena and his five beautiful children; Matthew-Royal “Kahu”(11), Dynasty(10), Jenuine(8), Jesse-Kimokeo “Hana”(4) and Kalalena-Ekewaka Kapo’o, Jr.(1), two God daughters; Journey-Lyn Echeverri and Princess Piimauna-Beck.

Grandparents: Royal and Karen (Predeceased) Vida, Rosaliend Kalili Vida (Predeceased), Peter (Predeceased)and Nellie Piena (Predeceased), Hanai Grandparents Jesse (Predeceased) and Sophie (Predeceased) Makainai
Siblings: Sean-Ryan Vida, Tiare Vida (Malia), Tatiana-Malia Piena Fraser (Kapili), Nani Mendoza, Diane Amaral (Mark)

Numerous Uncles, Aunties, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Hanai Brothers and Sisters. He Loved all his ‘Ohana and would share the shirt off his back! He loved Football which he played as a keiki all the way through High School becoming an All-Star Player his Senior year at King Kekaulike. His love of driving lead him to Las Vegas where he became a CDL Truck Driver cruzing all over the United States.

He will be celebrated on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku, 6 to 9 p.m. A Family Urn burial will be on Friday, February 18, 2022, 5 p.m. in Waikapu.
