Obituary for Juan Rumbaoa Duran
Juan Rumbaoa Duran, 96, of Pukalani, Maui, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born in 25 Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on July 12, 1924, to Gregorio and Diega Duran.
He is survived by his loving wife Agrifina Duran; son Victoriano (Antonia) Duran and daughter Marina (Antonio) Sagario; siblings Alfredo (Erlinda) Duran, Mary (Victorio-deceased) Castillo, Marcela (Isaias) Lagundino, and Andrea (Paul) Cacal, Jr.; grandchildren Victor Duran, Bradley (Jamie) Duran, Dawn (Nathan) Pauls, and Jenny (Zachary) Tokushima, along with 4 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother Epifanio (Margarita) Duran.
The family would like to express gratitude for the support and care received from Bayada Home Care, Islands Hospice and Dr. Noel Termulo.
Services will be held at Norman’s Mortuary with burial to follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery. A private service will follow due to COVID-19 restrictions. Visitors must remain in their cars during the burial. Please contact the family for service information.
