Obituary for Jose Nakoa Sarol

On Tuesday, April 18th at 11:47 am we lost our beloved father Jose Joseph Makoa Sarol. Our Dad was born in Mahina Hina they lived at Puukoli Kahakuloa Valley, then Napilihau.
Our Dad went to the military for the Army at a young age then when he returned started working at Maui Land & Pineapple where he met our mom, Rosita Uddipa Pante.
They were married for 52 years during that time as we grow up. I remember Dad singing in his band where we would spend weekends at parties. He has a beautiful voice and loved to sing and serenade family & friends.
His love for the beach was one of my favorite places to go. He loved the water and we loved the ocean goodies he would catch from fish opihi and the blessings the ocean would provide to feed our family.
As kids, we watched out Dad spread the Aloha to not only our family but to everyone he met. His smile was as big as his heart. He gave and made sure all the kids got everything they wanted. His love for Mom lasted for 52 years. Although he has gone to join the Lord, we will forever be grateful for all the memories we will have of him.
Dad we did not want you to go but we know you had to fly high and rest in love as you forever be our guardian angel. We love you so much Dad.
