Obituary for Erlinda Sablay Utrillo

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Friend Erlinda Sablay Utrillo 74, of Lahaina, Maui peacefully followed the calling of the lord at the comfort of her home with family by her side.

Linda was born on October 24, 1948 in Pugos Sinait Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She is predeceased by her loving husband Henry Utrillo, parents Felix and Catalina Sablay and sister Dolores (Jethro) Larita.
It was in the town of Sinait that Linda and Henry became to know each other growing up. Linda would then marry her neighborhood heartthrob Henry Utrillo on February 10, 1971 and then made her way with Henry to Hawaii making Lahaina Maui their forever home for raising her family.

Linda’s charming personality and sweet smile greeted the community in various positions she held earlier in her life from working on staff at Lahaina Intermediate School to cashier clerk positions at Whaler’s Village and Craft’s Drugs Store. Linda became most notably known during her many years welcoming the community at Lahaina Pharmacy. Linda then stayed on during the transition of Lahaina Pharmacy to Walgreen’s Pharmacy. When Walgreen’s Lahaina opened up at their current location, Linda brought along with her all her sweet ways and kept her lovely charm till her retirement in late 2022.

Linda cherished her family especially precious moments spent with her grandchildren. Her grandkids were everything to her. Linda was the best grandma we could ever ask for. WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!
