It is with great sadness that ʻOhana Alves announces the passing of Edward Alves Jr, at the age of 64, under hospice care. He was born to Edward and Annie Alves in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Eddie retired from Lite Electric in 2017 as a valuable and skilled equipment operator. He enjoyed baseball and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother Annie Alves, sister Georgina Andrade, brother Ronnie Alves, 5 children (Kahealani, Ho’ikaika, Haunani, Ho’okahi and Kai’ohu) 15 grandchildren ( Kalei, Pomai, Kahiwa, Loea, Lahela, Waiapo, Makana, Lily, Lokelani, Kauila, Kealaula, Kukui, Kaiohu, Kamaile, Kalilinoe), one great granddaughter
(Kapua) and numerous ʻohana & friends. He is predeceased by his wife Johnell “Tita” Alves, father Edward Alves, Sr. and brother Willie Alves.

Services will be held at Norman’s Mortuary.
