Obituary for Cynthia Susan Masi (Sakamoto)
Cynthia Susan Masi, 49, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on June 26, 2020, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Born December 4, 1970, in Maui.
Cynthia graduated in 1988 from Maui High School, Kahului, Maui. A former receiving clerk at Walmart and PayNSave, she also worked in the photo dept. at Longs Drugs, Kahului. She was predeceased by her husband, Manatukisaione Masi, her parents, Bruce & Ethel Sakamoto, sisters, Janice and Patricia Sakamoto, and brother, Nelson Sakamoto. Survived by her daughter, Akesa-lani Janice (Mavrick) Masi, son, Manatu Nelson Alan Masi, grandson Manatukisaione Marlik; her brothers, Adam and Samson Sakamoto, Bruce (Uvette) Sakamoto, and sister, Annette Sakamoto.
Services will be held at Norman’s Mortuary with cremation to follow. Burial will be held at a later date.
