Bennenido Arcangel, 91, was born on August 12, 1931, in Pu’ukoli’i, Lahaina and died on March 9, 2023, in Lahaina.
He served as an Army Reservist, then was employed by Pioneer Mill Sugar Plantation until his retirement as a Boiler Room Supervisor.
He was survived by his brothers, Adriano (Rose) Arcangel and Julian (Lyn) Arcangel, his sisters Angie (Robert) Jones and Mary (Tom) Pangilinan; his daughter Orilee Berta Biho, his sons Wenzel (Emily) and Stacey (Susie) Arcangel, 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Julian and Bernardina Arcangel; his brothers, David, Joseph, Leonardo and George Arcangel, his sisters, Florence Montero and Annie Bolor; his sons, Benjamin Leroy, Allan, and Ian Arcangel; his daughter, Bernie Arcangel, and his grandson Michael Arcangel.
Services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku from 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM with service at 10:30 AM and burial to follow at 12:30 PM at the Maui Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Norman’s Mortuary with Online Condolences at www.normansmortuary.com
